This home is only a 1000' walk to the beach. This is  a "sixth row" home which means it is three streets back from the beachfront (oceanfront homes are first row, semi's are second row, and so forth. Our home is three houses in from the corner which is important as the blocks in Whalehead are very, very long--you don't want to be in a home in the middle of a block. There is direct ocean access once you make the walk straight up to the beach--which means that on some streets you must turn at the ocean and walk to an access point.
